Mississippi Studios offers concertgoers incredible acoustics (with all-custom, non-parallel venue walls + state-of-the art analog perfection in the booth) and ‘feels like you’re in the front row’ sight lines. Bar Bar is the venue’s hopping burger slinging sidekick which boasts one of Portland’s favorite burgers + a large covered patio, a great selection of beers, and an ever-changing seasonal cocktail menu – seven days a week, 11:00 am until 2:00 am. Happy hour 4pm -6pm. Minors allowed until 8:00 pm with parent or guardian.
Valid ID is required. ALL night shows are 21+. Show and door times vary, check the show calendar for details. ALL shows are general admission with a standing floor + limited balcony seating unless denoted as “partially seated” or “mostly seated” on the show calendar.
Tickets are required to enter the main venue for most shows; however, the patio and Bar Bar are open to the public. The venue hosts a wide range of local, national, and international acts; covering almost every music genre. Over 500 shows occur each year with over 1500 bands, djs, and comedians performing.

ALL NIGHT SHOWS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION. NIGHT SHOWS ARE 21+ (UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE ON OUR SHOW CALENDAR). ALL LIMITED BALCONY SEATING IS FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE.
VALID ID REQUIRED FOR ALL SHOWS PER OLCC REGULATION WHICH INCLUDE: US Driver’s License, Valid Passport, or US Military ID. Per Oregon Law, we cannot accept non-US or Canadian Driver’s Licenses as acceptable ID.

Limited balcony seating is strictly first-come / first-serve. Most shows are 21+ with a standing floor and seated balcony unless otherwise noted on the show calendar.
BAR BAR BOX OFFICE sells advanced tickets to all Mississippi Studios shows (subject to availability) inside Bar Bar daily from 11am – 2am. There is a service fee for each ticket sold at the Bar Bar Box Office.
The fees are $1.50 for tickets under $19.99, $2.50 for tickets $20-$49.99, $3.50 for tickets $50-$74.99 and $4.50 for tickets $75-$99.99
REVOLUTION HALL BOX OFFICE sells advance tickets to all Mississippi Studios shows (subject to availability). It’s open Wednesday-Saturday, 3pm-7pm (or until 9 pm on any Rev Hall Show night) and is located at the box office window at Suite 203 inside Revolution Hall (1300 SE Stark St). Our venue WILL CALL / BOX (located at the entrance to the venue) is cash only (two ATMs located on premise), opens approximately one hour before showtime, and sells night-of-show tickets (subject to availability). This is also our will-call located at the entrance to the venue – which is through bar bar near the front. Tickets are also available online via TicketFly will-call, and USPS mail.
Online or Phone ticket options include: Print At Home, Mobile, Will Call, Standard Mail or UPS 2nd Day Air.
Print At Home and Mobile ticket purchases can have their tickets scanned off a smart phone. Please have the file up when you arrive at the venue to speed up admission lines.

AUDIO & VIDEO RECORDING SERVICES:
Mississippi Studios is an acoustically designed room with non-parallel walls and excellent, professional recording rig permanently installed. Live performances at Mississippi Studios can be captured by our expert audio engineers & videographers using our in-house recording gear.
RECORDING AUDIO: For general multitracking your show, we charge $75 per evening, which includes file management & transfer to your computer. We automatically keep files for only 90 days unless we hear otherwise, so please bring a drive and do a transfer right after your show. ALL recording requests must be coordinated during show advance, no exceptions. WE DO NOT ALLOW BOARD FEEDS OR TAPERS. Here’s why: 1. Board feeds are terrible by nature; the loudest instruments in the room are often not being amplified by the PA system (drums, loud amps), thus the stereo feed is all whacked out with vocals, effects, and acoustic instruments. 2. For multitrackers, we don’t want outside gear introducing buzzes or electronic noise into our system or unnecessary wear and tear on the direct out circuits/jacks (or our engineers). 3. Takes space in front of the board & looks/feels unprofessional. 4. We have figured out the most quality, reliable way to capture and multitrack shows for next-to-nothing, and we want to pass it on to artists.
VIDEO: We have three permanently installed Canon Vixia G30 HD 1080-capable, remote controlled cameras on remote controlled mounts (zoom, focus, tilt, pan are all RC) that run into an 8-camera-capable switcher in a control room upstairs. There is an audio split for assembling a broadcast mix for streaming. This system is something we are open to discuss using with qualified videographers.
We do NOT ALLOW videotaping of events (except under special circumstances) for these reasons: Video cameras take away from the ambience of the room and intimacy/now-ness of the performance and take up space. The firemarshall forbids tripods. We will occasionally allow use of handhelds/shouldermounts but ONLY if a production plan is presented at least 5 days in advance that includes: (a) plans for the audio capture, (b) post-production plans and (c) WRITTEN permission of the artists (we provide form). To avoid “imperial entanglements” we require bold and clear signage notifying patrons that they will be videotaped (we provide).
