About Mississippi Studios
Located in Portland’s Historic Mississippi District: the acclaimed former neighborhood Baptist church turned recording studio turned music venue. The venue offers show-goers incredible acoustics and sight lines. We run Bar Bar next door, which is home to one of the best burgers in town. Bar Bar is a fun spot which has two large outdoor covered patios, indoor seating, and a secret garden way in back.
Cocktail and burger lounge / patio open daily (serving lunch), seven days a week from 12 noon until 2am. Daily happy hour is 3pm – 6pm. Minors allowed until 8 pm in the restaurant/patio (all minors must be off premise by 9pm, earlier on some show nights).
ALL shows are 21+ unless otherwise noted on our show calendar. Most shows at 9:00pm, doors/will-call at 8:00pm unless otherwise noted on our show calendar. ALL shows are general admission with a standing floor and seated balcony unless denoted as ‘seated’ on the calendar.
Tickets are required to enter the main venue; however, the patio and Bar Bar are open to the public. The venue hosts a wide range of local, national, and international acts; covering almost every music genre. Over 500 performances occur each year with over 1500 bands, djs, and comedians performing.
Professional engineers are also available for recording projects. The venue can also be rented for private events such as corporate parties and weddings or for music videos and commercial shoots.
Rent the Studios Boutique Apartment
Great for out of town guests or group getaways, the Studios apartment is available for rent via AirBNB. Its fully furnished and sleeps up to 7 people with a full kitchen and balcony. For rental rates, availability, and photos, visit: AirBNB rental site.

Mississippi Studios is a wonderful and unique place for weddings, birthdays, reunions and all kinds of celebrations as well as a great space for daytime rentals such as seminars and group meetings etc. We can help you as much or as little as you wish, and our goal is to leave you with a memory of your event that will make you want to return to such a warm and friendly space again and again for shows, later on!

Please have a date in mind and the number of guests that you anticipate, plus approximate times that you would like to rent the space, and a call-back number. Allie will discuss your requirements and check the date to make sure it is available. Then she will send you pricing information that shows what is included, and after you have had a chance to look it over she will set-up a time to meet with you to view the space.
Our rental pricing is very competitive, and we try to be as transparent as we can so you will know ahead of time what you are looking at, without ‘hidden costs’. One word of caution: Our venue books-up quickly with shows as well as private events, so plan as far ahead as you can in order to get the date you want.
Box Office & Tickets
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL, NON-TRANSFERABLE, AND NON-REFUNDABLE; NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL SHOWS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION.

Limited balcony seating is strictly first-come / first-serve. Most shows are 21+ with a standing floor and seated balcony unless otherwise noted on the show calendar.
Bar Bar box office sells advanced tickets to all Mississippi Studios shows (subject to availability) at the bar box office daily from open to close. Our venue box office (located at the entrance to the venue) is cash only (two ATMs located on premise), opens approximately one hour before showtime, and sells night-of-show tickets (subject to availability). This is also our will-call located at the entrance to the venue – which is through bar bar near the front. Tickets are also available online via TICKETBISCUIT : Mississippi Studios for print-at-home, will-call, and USPS mail.
Service and/or delivery fees apply to ALL advanced tickets purchased online (fee subject to ticket price) and a $1.00 service fees apply to ALL advanced tickets purchased at our bar box.
